RUMNET has Re-Branded to

Collective Impact

RUMNET – also known as the Rural Media Network – has moved away from exclusively rural media to keep up with prevailing local development priorities and the changing global human development dynamics.

Accordingly, RUMNET has rebranded into a human security and social change communication organisation. For that matter, the organisation no longer bears the name RUMNET with effect from JUNE, 2024. It is now known as Collective IMPACT to reflect its new strategic direction.

Collective IMPACT is set to contribute to the alleviation of the relative insecurity, indignity, indigence and social exclusion bedeviling most parts of the northern ecological zone of the country. This means eliminating barriers to responsive and transparent governance and investing in people so they can reach their full potential.

Consequently, Collective IMPACT strategically imparts pertinent knowledge and purposeful skills, creates initiatives that support individuals, families, communities, governance and public institutions to work together to transform lives, in a peaceful environment.

Therefore, Collective IMPACT’s mission is to remove barriers to human security and social development, expand the choices and opportunities for citizens of northern Ghana to live in safety, dignity and prosperity, through collective intelligence, integrated programming and social change communication.

Collective IMPACT sets a novel strategic direction that gives priority to women and the youth, with specific interventions for whole communities around Citizen Governance, Conflict Prevention and Peace Mediation, Economic Empowerment, as well as Social and Behaviour Change.

Collective intelligence and partnerships are core to Collective IMPACT’s comprehensive, people-centered and context-sensitive interventions.

All prevailing projects in the name of RUMNET remain valid until they are completed.

Collaborate more with Collective IMPACT to achieve more together.
